Bats have exceptional hearing, they emit rapid calls that bounce off objects, so they can pinpoint prey even in complete darkness. ✔️

If your hearing is more like an armadillo (who are almost completely deaf) rather than a bat, it may be a build up of excess ear wax.

Our hearing can naturally decline as we get older, so it’s important to have regular hearing tests to monitor it. People don’t think twice about having regular eye tests and going to the dentist but often our precious ears get forgotten 🤷‍♀️.
So don’t be shy, book a hearing test, with NHS Devon Hearing Services, any Audiologist, or you can even do one on line test using headphones ✔️👂✔️👂✔️👂✔️👂✔️👂✔️👂✔️
At Hear Again Exmouth I don’t carry out hearing tests but I can check for and remove excessive ear wax, which should be step 1 if you think you’re hearing isn’t as good as it should be .

Don’t forget to have b your ears checked for wax ✔️✔️
As trapped water behind the wax can ruin a holiday for everyone ☹️
It can be painful, reduce hearing, and can lead to infection 🤦‍♀️☹️
