Just a small group this month for our art class with Gail, but that didn't stop us from creating a masterpiece.

Today's theme was International Dog Day and we had fun not only painting the dogs, but naming them, too!

A huge thank you to Rev. Susan Galloway for joining us and leading such a wonderful church service.

It was a lovely way to spend our Tuesday morning, bringing comfort, companionship and plenty of smiles to residents and team members alike.

We're delighted to share that we're hoping to make these services a regular occurrence, alongside the return of services led by Rev. Ian Baillie from September.

On 13 September, the staff at Thorntree Mews will be taking part in the 2026 Kiltwalk in Edinburgh. We will be helping raise awareness of dementia and how it affects both our residents and their families. The money raised will be used for trips, outings, entertainment and creating lasting memories.

Any donations, no matter the size, are greatly appreciated and any shares would mean the world to everyone at Thorntree.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated prizes for our summer raffle and to those who purchased tickets. We managed to raise an amazing £471.00! 🎉Every donation, no matter the size, is appreciated more than you know. This money will be used for trips and outings, entertainment and creating lasting memories. Thank you, again! ❤️

Last call for raffle tickets! Our summer raffle draw is being held on Friday the 31st of July and we will be selling tickets until 1pm the day of. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated prizes, vouchers and handmade items, it means so much to us at Thorntree.
