What a wonderful afternoon our residents enjoyed at the Monday Club! 💕🎶
Outings like this are such an important part of life at Newcarron Court, supporting meaningful engagement, social inclusion, wellbeing and community connection. It was lovely to see residents enjoying time together, meeting others, having a chat, sharing memories and simply having fun. 🥰
The afternoon provided opportunities for choice and participation, helping our residents to remain active within the local community and supporting their individual interests, preferences and personal outcomes.
There were lots of smiles, laughter and wonderful moments of connection. ❤️ It was fantastic to see residents enjoying themselves in a relaxed and welcoming environment, promoting positive emotional wellbeing, confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.
At Newcarron Court, we believe that every day should bring opportunities to live well, make choices, build relationships and create new memories. 🌈

A huge thank you to the family of the late Billy Jardine for their very kind donation of a wonderful collection of LPs from the old films. 🎬🎶

Residents had a fantastic time reminiscing, listening to the music and sharing treasured memories. There was plenty of laughter as Christine impressed everyone by correctly guessing the decade each film was released, while Pat fondly reminisced about her very first job working at the cinema.

These special moments and conversations are priceless, bringing back so many happy memories. Thank you once again to Billy's family for helping us create such a wonderful morning@. ❤️

Today Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of wellbeing and relaxation. 💙

We started with some fun and energising chair-based exercise led by the lovely Abi, helping everyone stay active with plenty of smiles along the way.

This was followed by a truly special new experience – a relaxing Sound Bath. A huge thank you to Karen from Inner Spa Healing, who generously volunteered her time to give our residents the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful holistic therapy free of charge.

The calming sounds created a peaceful atmosphere, leaving everyone feeling relaxed, refreshed and uplifted. We are so grateful to Karen for sharing such a unique and meaningful experience with us. 🌿✨

Nurse Tracy was on keeping active duty , having fun, and sharing plenty of smiles! 💪🎯

Residents enjoyed a lively armchair exercise session followed by a friendly bean bag toss challenge. Staying active together helps promote mobility, coordination, confidence, and lots of laughter! ❤️

Wow! Where do we start volunteers from Social Security Scotland came along to tidy up our gardens. Theres were some old tired sheds that needed dismantled, they set about it and we cannot express how thankful we are. Jamie also brought his bagpipes along and played for the Residents which they loved. Thank you is not enough.
