Over the years, we have had the privilege of caring for many people from our local community whose passion for football was a huge part of who they were.
Later, as Scotland takes to the world stage, we know there will be many loved ones being remembered by families and friends who would have been proudly wearing their colours, gathering with family, and cheering on our national team.
Just as many of the families we have cared for will be thinking of those special people over the coming weeks, so too will we. For many, Scotland’s matches will bring memories of fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, grandparents, brothers, sisters, partners, and friends who would have been proudly watching every game, sharing their opinions, celebrating the highs, and living every moment of the journey.
We too will feel the absence of the special people in our own lives who should be here to enjoy the occasion, watching the matches, sharing in the excitement, and proudly supporting Scotland alongside us.
While they may no longer be with us, their passion, traditions, and memories live on through the people who continue to support Scotland in their honour.
Today, our thoughts are with those supporters who are no longer with us but whose love of the game continues to bring families together.
From Andrew, Sam, Lauren, Danielle and Stewart, we wish Scotland every success and hope they make supporters past and present proud. 🤍💙
