As our young people sit anxiously awaiting their exam results today in Scotland, a word from someone who has been there many times since school.

There is no wrong path, there is only your path. I spent many years feeling like I had to get the results just to be 'accepted', to be thought of as 'enough', to feel my parents were proud of me, the list is long. Only experience gives us the knowledge that it was all just a moment in our time.

Whilst I hope you all get the results you hope for today, just know that, if you don't, there will be another way, another time, another path. What's on paper does not define your worth or what you have already achieved in your life.

Deep breath, open the envelope, or text/email as it is these days, and accept what's there. It will all work out, I promise. You are loved. You are enough. You always will be ❤️

Here's your girl looking after herself again. I have been dying to try this new therapy offered by Gillian at The Therapy Hub.

For me, it felt like lying on an air bed as waves gently move you, then the next stage felt like an all over body hug. My back clunked, in a good way, my dodgy knees felt like they had had some kind of magic rub and the rest of me felt lighter. Half an hour on a cosy bed, to feel this good. I'll be back 😜❤️

So, Friday night was another 'all nighter', the second Gong Puja I've been priviliged to be a part off. As nights go, this one took me on a 'journey' for sure. I'll spare you the full details but I was honoured to witness some very special people join us ❤️

Travel arrangements meant I was able to be part of the set up, the building of the energy, the intention setting, the players (some first time) allowing themselves to be vulnerable in that space, to watch them be guided by their instruments is not something words can describe. To hold space for them was an honour.

Pauline worked her magic, and her hours and hours of hard work pulled everyone together for the most magical event. The laughs, the attention to detail, the commitment, second to none.

If you ever get the chance to experience a trained sound practitioner, jump in, you are guaranteed a very special event indeed.
