To celebrate the World Cup, our residents enjoyed a lively game of Memory Football — and it was a brilliant mix of fun, laughter and friendly competition! 🎉

Each time someone caught the ball, they answered the question written on it, sparking wonderful stories, shared memories and plenty of smiles. It was the perfect way to bring everyone together for some football‑themed fun ⚽💛

🎨 Creative Time at Airthrey Care Home 🎨

We’ve been getting creative here at Airthrey as residents tried out our new pastels, and the results were fantastic 💛

Everyone enjoyed experimenting with colours, techniques and different styles, producing some lovely artwork along the way 🎨

There was a real sense of pride in what was created, and it was wonderful to see creativity and self‑expression shining through ✨

A relaxing and enjoyable session that brought plenty of smiles all round 😊

✈️ Armchair Adventure to Italy at Airthrey Care Home ✈️

We packed our imaginations and boarded Airthrey Airlines for a fantastic armchair adventure to Italy 🌟

From the moment we “took off”, the experience felt wonderfully real, with safety announcements, cockpit sounds and a warm welcome from our very own air hostess 🛫😊

Once we “landed”, our Italian journey began! Residents explored some incredible sights including the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the historic Pompeii Archaeological Park, and learned about the powerful Mount Vesuvius 🌋🏛️

We also admired the beautiful lemon groves of Sorrento, discovering why the region is so famous for its citrus fruits 🍋

Of course, no flight is complete without refreshments! Our trolley service was filled with delicious Italian‑inspired treats, giving everyone a true taste of Italy along the way 🍪🍫

A wonderful experience filled with travel, discovery and shared moments - all without leaving the comfort of home 💛

🐾💛 A Very Special Visitor at Airthrey Care Home 💛🐾

We were delighted to welcome a very special guest back to Airthrey - the lovely Zuri, our much‑loved pet therapy dog 🐶✨

There were plenty of smiles as residents enjoyed spending time with Zuri, offering gentle pats and a warm welcome. Visits like this bring such comfort and joy, creating meaningful and uplifting moments for everyone 😊

Zuri’s visits are always a highlight, and we look forward to seeing her again soon 🐾🌟

We had great fun playing on our slot car track, with plenty of excitement as everyone got involved 🚗💨

There was lots of laughter and a bit of friendly rivalry, as the winner earned some well-deserved bragging rights… at least until tea time! 🏆

We had a wonderful time during our arts and crafts session, creating beautiful coasters and trying our hand at some lovely stone art 🖌️🪨

There was plenty of creativity, colour and laughter, with everyone really enjoying the chance to express themselves and make something special 💛

A fantastic afternoon filled with creativity and great company, we can’t wait for our next session!

We were absolutely delighted to help make a very special wish come true here at Airthrey 💛

Myra’s lifelong dream was to ride a horse again - something she hadn’t experienced for many years. Thanks to the incredible team at Equi-Power Central Scotland RDA that wish became a reality 🌟

The team were fantastic from start to finish, carrying out gentle assessments to ensure Myra felt comfortable and supported, before helping her back into the saddle.

Their kindness, patience and encouragement made the experience truly special 🐎

Seeing the moment unfold and witnessing the joy it brought to Myra was simply unforgettable 😊

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Equi-Power Central Scotland RDA for making this possible and for providing such a caring and supportive experience - we are so grateful 💛

We enjoyed a truly wonderful outing as we took three of our animal‑loving residents to the stables in Sauchenford Equi-Power Central Scotland RDA a very special experience 💛

The visit included the chance to have tea alongside a pony, creating a hands‑on and memorable experience that everyone thoroughly enjoyed 🐎✨

From spending time up close with the pony to sharing the moment together, it was a day filled with connection and enjoyment - with plenty of smiles all round 😊

Outings like this bring something truly special, especially for those who love animals, and it was fantastic to see everyone getting involved 🌟

The day finally arrived, and what a special moment it was as we watched our butterflies take flight here at Airthrey 💛

After following their incredible journey from caterpillars to butterflies, it was truly wonderful to see them fly off into the evening sky, marking the final stage of their transformation ✨

It’s been such a memorable experience for everyone involved, filled with curiosity, connection and a real appreciation for the beauty of nature 🦋🌿

A magical moment that we will all remember 🌟
