I am Michelle Brown, co-founder/director of Ratcliffe & Brown CIC.
Getting through ballot for the London Marathon 2026 mean’t I didn’t have to take part in any charity fundraising.

However, I wanted to take this amazing opportunity to help raise awareness and funds for Lyme Disease UK (LDUK)

LDUK’s mission is to prevent cases of Lyme disease by raising awareness of the importance of tick bite prevention 🍋‍🟩 🦠

My best friend Chantelle Lewis is still struggling 12 years on after being bitten by a tick.

I watch the struggles she goes through in a daily basis and how challenging most days can be , like running a marathon of her own .

I have never met more of a warrior than her , she’s always got a smile on her face even when days are hard and you can guarantee she will always be there for her loved ones and friends when in need , regardless on how she is feeling .

Please take time to read my fundraising page (link below) & please start the donating early helping me raise as much funds as possible for marathon day in April 2026. Your kind donations will also help mentally support me when those training winter days eventually come round.

I am running 4 times a week, with long runs on the weekends to build up my miles slowly & build strength & stamina for the epic challenge ahead 💚
