When was the last time you had an hour where you didn’t need to do anything for anyone else?
No emails.
No washing.
No jobs to finish.
No one asking what’s for dinner.
Just time to stop, switch off and have someone else look after you.
Does that sound like total bliss to you?
That’s one of the things many people enjoy about reflexology.
And there is now some interesting research looking specifically at reflexology and menopause.
A 2025 systematic review and meta-analysis found that foot reflexology was associated with improvements in overall menopausal symptoms and fatigue.
The researchers did, however, rate the certainty of the evidence as low or very low, so more research is needed.
So I’m not going to tell you that reflexology will fix your menopause symptoms or balance your hormones.
But if you’re looking for some time to pause, relax and focus on yourself, reflexology could be one option to consider as part of your overall wellbeing.
Sometimes you don’t need another thing to achieve.
You just need an hour to stop.
