We have some exciting news to share! ✨

We are incredibly proud to announce that Jessie Higginson and Claire Nicoll have been selected as finalists in this year's Proud to Care Awards from over 1,000 nominations! 🎉

The awards will be held at Tregenna Castle, St Ives in September, and we couldn't be more thrilled to see their hard work and dedication recognised.

At Carrick Healthcare, we also want to say how incredibly proud we are of every single member of our team. These nominations represent just two amazing individuals, but they reflect the compassion, commitment and professionalism shown by our entire team every single day. Big news... we're moving! 🎉

From Thursday, you'll find us in our new office! We're not going far as we are staying on the same business park.

This move is a huge milestone for us and reflects just how much we've grown and we're so excited for everything that's still to come.
Over the next few weeks, we'll be giving the new space a full renovation to make it our own. So if you pop in to see us, please bear with us while we get everything finished—we promise it'll be worth it!
Here's to bigger space, bigger plans, and an exciting new chapter.

The daughter of one of our carers has gone to school today for a “Dream Big day” this is where you go to school dressed as what you want to be in life and she choose to dress like her mum Hannah Hayden 😍🤩🫶

We had a busy day at Carrick Healthcare today with a full staff meeting! 🚗☕🍰

Carrick has grown even more over the last couple of months, so it was lovely to get everyone together to drink coffee, eat cake, and spend some time with the team.
As you can see, we took up a large part of the car park — and some staff couldn’t even attend because they were away on holiday!
It’s amazing to see how much the team continues to grow 💙

💙 Following the recent storm, we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate the truly outstanding efforts of our staff and the wider community.
Our team went above and beyond in extremely difficult circumstances. Staff covered visits when they were not due to work, travelled in challenging conditions, and made sure service users had essential food, water, and support. Their dedication, compassion, and willingness to step in without hesitation has been nothing short of remarkable, and we are incredibly proud of every one of them.

We are also deeply grateful to our local community. Thank you to everyone who offered help, cleared roads, removed debris, checked in on neighbours, and looked out for one another.

Times like these remind us how powerful teamwork and compassion can be. Thank you all for your support, care, and generosity — it truly means everything. 💙

This year we decided to make our own Christmas card to send to the Service Users which was fun.
We will need a bigger card next year with all the new staff we have taken on in the last couple of weeks which is fab 😍🎄

Last night we spent an amazing night at the Merchant manor for our Christmas party. Each year we treat the amazing team and their partners to a 3 course meal and disco. We were missing a few of the team but due to still being such a large group we had exclusive use which was great.
So proud of the team and it was a great night had by all 🎄😍🤩
