Bowel Cancer Screening requires a tiny bit of poo to help detect cancer early, when it is easiest to treat. If you are aged 50-74, you will receive an at-home test in the post. Please don’t ignore it, it could be lifesaving for you.

Over the last year our PCN has been taking part in a local improvement scheme with the Wessex Cancer Alliance.

As part of this project, we have completed a cancer diagnosis audit focusing on colorectal Cancer. The purpose of this audit was to review referral practices and look for ways we can help to increase earlier cancer diagnoses and how we can improve health outcomes for our patients.

All information submitted in the audit is completely anonymised, individuals cannot be identified from the audit, and complies with our GDPR and privacy policies.
