As we come to the end of , we wanted to share a heartwarming example of the GREAT care our fabulous team of care professionals have provided recently.
Eddie has tendered to his beautiful garden for over 40 years, but due to a decline in mobility he was unable to continue taking the trip to the bottom of the garden to pick his favorite Blackberries.... until Holly came along.
Home Instead care professional Holly has been working daily with Eddie to complete short exercises together. This has resulted in Eddie finally having the confidence and ability to walk down to the bottom of the garden with Holly's support and come back with a bowl full of beautifully ripe Blackberries 💜
Smiles and Blackberry Jam all round! 🍰👏😃

Myself and Suzanne our Care Manager who covers the Farnham area had a lovely meeting with Annie Russell, Client Services Manager at Bournewood Manor Care Home in Farnham. It was great to learn more about the excellent support they provide, not only through residential care but also their valuable respite care services.

I was delighted that Annie saw the potential for Home Instead to support people as they transition back to living independently in their own homes following a respite stay. Working together in this way can help ensure people receive the continuity of care and support they need to remain safe, comfortable, and confident at home.

Building strong local partnerships like these is so important in helping people access the right care at the right time. I look forward to working together in the future.

I’ve been working for Home Instead for around 4 months and my experience has been really enjoyable. The whole team have been so welcoming and really make you feel part of a supportive community. The onboarding process was straight forward and the training sessions have been invaluable for giving me the confidence and knowledge to support clients in their homes.
Andrea the scheduler has been instrumental in my new role, from matching me with other wonderful care professionals for shadow visits to supporting me to build up my schedule, she’s very kind and approachable and often checks in to see how I’m getting on and to offer positive feedback, I feel very supported and valued within this company and I highly recommend working as a care professional for Home Instead.

Getting out into the community and making connections.
We recently spent time with the lovely Chit Chat group at MHA Communities Hampshire North joining in with quizzes, good conversation, and plenty of laughs along the way. Gill kindly showed us some of the quizzes she puts together for the group, and it's clear so much thought and care goes into every session.
It's groups like these that remind us how powerful a bit of connection, conversation, and community spirit can be. Thank you for having us we loved every minute! 🧩💬"

Our Home Instead team laced up and joined Rushmoor Borough Council Wellbeing Walk, connecting with the local community while championing health and wellbeing for all. It was a brilliant reminder that small steps can make a big difference both for our bodies and our community spirit. Im Janet and I have been working for home instead for 4 years in December this year. I feel honoured to be able to fulfill my job in this company. Not only to help our clients remain in their own homes, along with their special memories and to help and encourage them to keep their independence.
We all have good days and bad days however I am very fortunate to have 2 very professional and supportive care managers that are always there to listen, provide guidance and support me. I feel that susie Roberts and sian Brown are not only professional in all the things they do and always support in any situation
I would highly recommend home instead to this company not only high standards of care but also very high standards of management in the live in care sector.

I’ve been working for Home Instead for around 8 months, and I have nothing but positive things to say. From day one, I’ve felt supported, encouraged, and truly valued as part of the team. The training has been excellent and has given me everything I need to feel confident in my role.

I’ve genuinely enjoyed working with every client, attending the training sessions, and being part of such a caring and professional company.

My Care Manager, Suzanne has been absolutely fantastic. She is kind, caring, approachable, and always there to offer support whenever it’s needed.
