The therapists at DHC Talking Therapies run a popular virtual group course covering the physical and psychological impacts that menopause can have, with effective CBT strategies to cope better. The next group starts on 10 August and runs for 6 weeks 5-6.30pm. Say hello to Lily, our new Nurse Manager, who has recently joined the Central Surgery team.

Lily leads our wonderful team of nurses and healthcare assistants, ensuring they have the support they need to provide the highest standard of care. Alongside managing the team, she is also very much hands-on. Caring for, treating and supporting our patients every day.

As Nurse Manager, Lily plays a key role in overseeing the day to day running of the nursing team, coordinating patient care, maintaining clinical standards, supporting staff development, and helping to create a safe, welcoming environment for both patients and colleagues

Outside of work, Lily enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, family and friends. She enjoys going on long walks, and recently completed the Moon walk in London for breast cancer.

A fun fact about Lily is she is very musical, she can play the piano, flute and the drums.

Our mission is to support our community with responsive healthcare, tailored to the needs of the individual and those who support them. We will do this whilst listening with respect and acting in kindness.
