Honored, proud, and still a bit speechless… 🥂✨
I’m so thrilled to share that I’ve been named a finalist for the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN) Excellence and Innovation in Medical Aesthetic Nursing! 🏆
Every application was completely anonymized and reviewed independently by an external judging panel, which makes being shortlisted mean even more.
With over 25 years in NHS nursing, keeping things safe, honest, and patient-first is just second nature to me. Whether it’s using deep-dive skin analysis to show patients what’s really going on with their skin health, keeping standards sky-high through Save Face Platinum Accreditation, or mentoring nurses who are new to aesthetics, I’ve always believed in keeping both feet on the ground and doing things properly.

Concern: This fabulous patient has previously had dermal filler but she was noticing fine lines on the upper lip and a lack of structure.
Treatment: Strategically placed dermal filler under lip boarder, dermal filler into lip body to build lip height and cannula work around the lip to improve the lip lines
Result: Improved structure, lip height and smoothing of fine lines around the lip
