With the current situation we all still find ourselves in and the need to continue with essential training as a requirement for industries with employees at work, we will be following our awarding organisations guidance as well as government guidelines to offer adapted training courses during this difficult time.

With people returning to work and training as a legal requirement, we will be taking steps to offer courses as well as modifying practices to limit contact for delegates during teaching scenarios. As per government guidelines and the FAAOF recommendations non essential training (front line staff) can start to commence at the government’s state alert at level 3.

As the government start to consider the possibility of relaxing the lockdown and we can resume face to face essential first aid training, the HSE have produced guidelines as well as training centres governing bodies to be adopted during all first aid training.

This document highlights the measures we will be taking for social distancing during training and assessment of all courses.

Congratulations to the 4 delegates who completed their 2 day RLSS National Rescue Award for Swim Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) at the David Lloyd centre in Ipswich his weekend.
