Sooooo excited to share that I’ve been offered a charity place in the London Marathon 2027, where I’ll be running for Leukaemia Care UK.

Like many people I know, I entered the ballot; but I also had a little look at the charities offering places. As I scrolled through the list, Leukaemia Care immediately stood out to me.

Recently a family friend, very close to my dad sadly passed away from leukaemia at the tender age of just 36. While I wasn’t one of his closest friends, his story has always stayed with me. Leukaemia Care supported his family during an incredibly difficult time, and before he passed away, his wife and two children worked hard to raise money for the charity that had helped them so much.

When I saw Leukaemia Care on the list, it felt like the right charity to support and a meaningful way to honour his memory.

Over the next few months, alongside running my business and training for the marathon, I’ll be organising a number of fundraising events to help reach my target. I’ll share details of these as they’re announced, and I’d be incredibly grateful for any support along the way.

I’ll be opening up a limited number of Saturday appointments at a reduced rate (see post).

Instead of paying me, your appointment fee will be donated directly to Leukaemia Care via my fundraising page. I will have a QR code in clinic.

5 years ago, I started Soul Therapies with a dream, a treatment couch, and absolutely no idea where the journey would eventually lead me ✨

From starting out inside to moving into , and eventually growing into my own town centre clinic. The Sage Clinic, this business has evolved alongside me in so many ways.

And whilst the business has continued to grow, flourish, and reach milestones I once only dreamed of… the truth is, behind the scenes, life hasn’t always been pretty.

There have been really hard times over these last 5 years. Times where life felt uncertain, overwhelming, and far from the calm aesthetic you often see online. We’ve faced struggles privately, including a period of homelessness, stress, burnout, and moments where I honestly questioned everything.

But somehow, through all of it, this business kept going.

It kept growing.
It kept helping people.
And it kept giving me purpose.

The Sage Clinic was never built to be “perfect” or staged for social media. It’s been built from real life, real struggles, real passion, and a genuine love for helping people heal, relax, and feel supported.

And I think that’s why this milestone means so much to me. Half a decade.

To every client who has supported me, booked in, shared my work, recommended me, followed my journey, or simply believed in what I do, thank you. Truly. You’ve helped keep this dream alive (and my family) more than you’ll ever realise 🤍

To my family, children and friends, thank you for supporting me through every high and every low.

And the biggest thank you goes to my husband (Mr Sage/man of towels); my constant support behind the scenes. Thank you for carrying so much of the weight nobody else sees, for helping me keep going during the hardest moments, and for believing in me even when I struggle to believe in myself.

This business may have started as Soul Therapies…
but it became The Sage Clinic through resilience, growth, healing, and community.

5 years later, I’m still here.
Still growing.
Still learning.
Still grateful beyond words.

I can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes us ✨

A little update…

If you saw my previous post, you’ll notice it’s no longer here (I deleted it) 🤣 I took some time to reflect and tune back into what truly feels right for me and my business.

The truth is, my business has always been led by passion, purpose, and heart (passion over profit) and that isn’t something I’m willing to compromise on. While I’ve had to consider the practical side of things, I also trust that there’s a way to make this work without stepping away from something I genuinely enjoy and really believe in.

I’d rather show up authentically with what I love doing.

So, rather than closing this chapter, I’ve decided to explore new ways to continue offering colonic hydrotherapy in a way that feels aligned, sustainable, and supportive for both myself and my clients.

This may not be the most conventional path in business, I am aware of that, but it is the right one for me and I stand by it 💫💪🏻

So today I received a very unexpected email 🤍

I tend to keep a low profile as I’m usually fully booked and want to give both my clients and my family the very best of me. That’s why this little award came as such a surprise!

In the past I’ve entered a few awards, but quickly realised they weren’t really for me. Which makes this even more special, as it’s been awarded through my booking system based on my bookings and the lovely people who take the time to leave a review after visiting.

Thank you so, so much to everybody that supports my business, dream and family, and for taking the time to leave such kind words about your experiences with me. There are sooo many businesses that use fresha so this just makes me feel super wonderful 💫

I’m incredibly grateful and still have moments where I can’t quite believe this is my job ✨

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums and mother figures out there 💫

Today we celebrate the strength, patience, love and pure magic that mothers bring to everyday life. The quiet sacrifices, the endless care, the hugs that fix everything, and the resilience shown even on the toughest days.

A special thank you to my own mum, my mum-in-law and my step-mum. I’m so grateful for the love and support you bring to our family.

And I feel incredibly lucky and proud to be mummy to my three beautiful babies, who make every day brighter. 💕

Mother’s Day can bring many emotions, so I’m also sending love today for those longing to become mothers and anyone finding today difficult. You are seen, you are supported, and you are not alone. 🤍

Happy International Women’s Day 💜

This day always feels especially meaningful to me. Last year my sister and I raised over £1000 for Lighthouse Women’s Aid, a cause so close to our hearts, supporting women who deserve safety, strength and a fresh start.

Every day through my work I’m surrounded by incredible women; women who work hard, run businesses, raise families, chase dreams, support others and keep going even when life is tough.

As a mum raising two amazing young women myself, this day reminds me just how important it is to celebrate the strength, resilience and kindness that women carry.

So today is a big shout out to all my strong ladies, the mums, the girl mums, the independent women, the business owners, the carers, the fighters and the quiet warriors. I see you and I appreciate every single one of you.

Here’s to lifting each other up, supporting one another and raising the next generation of strong women.
