🦵 Outside knee pain? Start here.

If you’ve been stretching and foam rolling your IT band but the pain keeps coming back, you might be treating the symptom—not the cause.
In many cases, pain on the outside of the knee is linked to:
- Poor hip control
- Weak glute muscles
- Reduced single-leg stability

That’s why these exercises focus on improving how your hip and pelvis control movement and absorb load.

Try these consistently, build your strength gradually, and see how your knee responds đź’Ş

Diagnosis Reveal: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Numbness, tingling, weak grip… and waking up with shaking your hand at night?

This is one of the most common nerve problems I see - and it’s often mistaken for something else.

The key details:
• tingling in the thumb, index and middle fingers
• symptoms worse at night
• Relief when shaking the hand

The mistake many people make:
- ignoring it early
- pushing through symptoms
- not considering where the nerve is being irritated

The good news:
- early management can make a big difference
- Small changes to load and positioning help
- You don’t always need to stop activity

Guess the Diagnosis, No.9, Pt.2 - SIJ dysfunction!

Low back pain… but not quite disc, not quite hip, and not always the spine.

Pain around the dimple of the lower back, into the glute, worse turning in bed or getting out of the car… sound familiar?

This is a common presentation that gets blamed on a lot of different structures. The key is knowing where to look and what to test.

Sometimes the painful area is only part of the story.

Guess the Diagnosis No.8, Pt.3 - Maigne’s Syndrome

Low back pain… hip pain… but the source might be higher up.

If you’ve been treating the hip or SIJ with little progress, the thoracolumbar junction could be the missing piece.

These 4 rehab exercises can help improve:
Thoracic mobility
Trunk control
Load tolerance
Movement through the right areas

Often with Maigne’s Syndrome, the pain is felt away from the source — which is why it gets missed so often.

The goal isn’t just pain relief:
It’s restoring movement and building control so it doesn’t keep coming back.

Which exercise would you try first?

Save this for later if you deal with stubborn low back or hip pain.

Diagnosis Reveal: Maigne’s Syndrome

Low back pain… hip pain… SIJ pain… but the real source may be higher up

Maigne’s Syndrome (Thoracolumbar Junction Dysfunction) is an often-overlooked cause of pain around the iliac crest, buttock, groin, or lateral hip.

The tricky part?
Symptoms are usually felt away from the source.

That means many people treat the hip, glute, or SIJ… while missing the thoracolumbar junction completely.

Key takeaway:
Not all pain is coming from where you feel it. Proper assessment matters.

Low back pain… or something else?

Pain around the pelvis, hip, even the groin—
but nothing obvious shows up where you’d expect.

This one catches a lot of people out… even clinicians.

It’s not always the hip.
It’s not always the SIJ.

Sometimes the source is somewhere you’re not even looking.

Guess the diagnosis No.7, Pt.3 - Hip OA

Hip pain that’s stiff, achy, and getting worse over time?

These are go-to exercises for a very common condition I see in clinic.

If you’re struggling with:
• Groin pain
• Stiff hips
• Difficulty walking or putting shoes on
…these will help improve movement and build strength where it matters 💪

The key isn’t to stop moving

It’s to move better

Save this for later if your hips need it
