👗💕 WE NEED YOUR HELP - LADIES’ DRESS DONATIONS WANTED 💕👗

We’re creating something really special at Fernhill House Care Home. A mock fashion shop where our residents living with dementia can enjoy the experience of choosing and “buying” beautiful clothes for themselves. 🛍️✨

We’re looking for good quality ladies’ dresses that are clean and in excellent condition. They can be new or pre-loved, but we’d love them to be something our ladies would be proud and excited to wear. 🌸

The idea is to create a lovely little shopping experience, giving our residents the opportunity to browse, choose their favourite dress and try things on ❤️

If you have any dresses tucked away in your wardrobe that are no longer being worn, we would be so grateful for your donations. 🙏

Fernhill House Flash Mob Journey.

We wanted to share this lovely video of residents from retirement villages, as well as people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, practising. ❤️

It’s a wonderful reminder that this flash mob really is for everyone. There are no perfect dancers required, just enthusiasm, a willingness to have fun and the desire to come together for a fantastic cause.

We’re doing this to raise vital funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s Research UK 🧡 and to show that age, ability or experience shouldn’t stop anyone from getting involved.

We know how to keep our residents entertained when the temperatures soar😎

With the air conditioning on, curtains drawn, plenty of refreshing drinks and inventive indoor games, we’re making sure everyone stays cool, comfortable and entertained.

Today’s highlight? Cinema Club, Las Vegas style! 🎬🌴 And our very own usherette came around with ice creams… complete with a torch! 🔦😂
