Once again, it’s been a very busy few days with lots happening and plenty of smiles along the way! 😊

🎂 Today we celebrated Peter’s birthday with a lovely sing-along, which was especially special as it was requested by Peter himself. 🎶❤️ We hope you had a wonderful birthday, Peter!

🍂 Our beautiful Autumn boards are coming along beautifully, with everyone adding their own little touches and getting involved. We can’t wait to see the finished displays! 🍁

🚶‍♀️ This afternoon, a few of us enjoyed a lovely walk, getting some fresh air and enjoying a little time outdoors together. And a fun game of catchphase was also played 🌳💕

And there’s lots more going on behind the scenes! 👀 We’re busy planning our exciting 80s Day, getting everything ready for Elaine’s Sponsored Silence, as well as plenty more activities and events for our residents to enjoy!

There’s never a dull moment at Denehurst! ❤️🏡

🍂✨ A VERY BUSY FEW DAYS AT DENEHURST! ✨🍂

We’ve had another lovely and very busy few days here at Denehurst! 💕 There’s been something for everyone to get involved in, with plenty of fun, laughter and time spent together.

🍁 Lots more Autumn crafts have been taking place as we continue creating our beautiful Autumn display boards. We’ve been getting creative with paints, pencils, felt tips, watercolours and lots of different materials. 🎨🍂

🎱 Bingo has brought plenty of excitement and a few winners along the way!

🎶 Sing-along with Susan had everyone joining in with some of our favourite songs. 🎤❤️

💪 Chair-based exercises got everyone moving, stretching and having fun together.

🎲 Plus lots of other activities, relaxation, socialising and spending precious time together.

It’s been wonderful seeing everyone getting involved in their own way, whether joining an activity, having a chat with friends, enjoying some quiet time or simply watching the world go by. 🥰

There really is always something happening at Denehurst! ❤️🍂

🍂 THE START OF AUTUMN AT DENEHURST 🍂

Today we welcomed the start of Autumn at Denehurst Nursing Home with a lovely creative Autumn board activity! 🍁🎨

Our residents had the chance to get creative using a wonderful variety of materials, including paint, coloured pencils, watercolours, felt-tip pens, coloured paper and more. 🖌️✏️🍂

We’ll be continuing our Autumn board throughout the week so that everyone has the opportunity to get involved, add their own ideas and make their mark on our seasonal display. ❤️

This afternoon was all about taking things at a slower pace, with some lovely relaxation time and our Dominoes Club — plenty of chatting, laughter and friendly competition! 🁫😊

As always, alternative activities were also available throughout the day, allowing everyone to choose something they enjoyed and take part at their own pace. ❤️

We’ve been enjoying a lovely, quiet and relaxed weekend here at Deanhurst Nursing Home. 💕

A few of us enjoyed a lovely trip out to the local park, taking in the fresh air and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. 🌳☀️

Back at the home, we’ve also been getting creative with some fun craft activities, spending time together, having a chat and enjoying each other’s company. 🎨✂️

A wonderfully calm weekend filled with simple pleasures, smiles and precious moments together. 🥰💗

We started the day with a very gentle and relaxed morning. Some of us enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard, making the most of the fresh air while enjoying a delicious hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and sprinkles! ☕️🍫✨

Our Norman also had a wonderful one-to-one art session this morning, creating some lovely artwork and enjoying some precious individual time. 🎨❤️

This afternoon, we were entertained by the brilliant Chris Gilley 🎶🎤, and what a fantastic afternoon it was! Both residents and staff have had so much fun singing, dancing and enjoying the music together. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and happy faces all around. 💃🕺🎵

It’s been another wonderful day filled with laughter, music, creativity and togetherness ❤️

Another lovely, busy day at Denehurst Nursing Home 💕

This morning, some of us enjoyed a lovely trip out into the village, where we did a little bit of shopping before stopping off at a local pub for a drink and a good catch-up. 🛍🍺☕️

This afternoon, we made the most of the lovely weather and enjoyed spending some relaxing time together in the garden. 🌿☀️

🌟 Another lovely day at Denehurst Nursing Home! 🌟

As well as celebrating our "Bob's" birthday!

This morning, we enjoyed coming together to make some delicious chocolate cornflake cakes! 🍫🍰 There were lots of smiles, laughter and, of course, a little bit of tasting along the way! 😋

This afternoon, a few of us enjoyed a lovely trip out into the village, taking a leisurely walk, doing a little shopping and stopping off for a drink at a local venue. 🛍️☕️


Another wonderful day filled with good company, fresh air, cake and happy memories! ❤️
