🐣🐣🐣Join us for an egg-citing afternoon at Lomond View Care Home as we host our Easter Fun Day on Saturday 4th April from 2pm–4pm.

There’ll be raffles, refreshments, Easter activities and stalls, with plenty going on to bring residents, families and the local community together for a lovely afternoon of fun and connection.

It’s a wonderful chance to enjoy time together in the home, strengthen community connections and share in the spirit of Easter with everyone.

We’d also be very grateful for any raffle prize donations ahead of the event. Donations can be handed into the home and would be warmly welcomed.

We can't wait to see you there 💐💐💐

This is a reminder that the UK Government will be carrying out an Emergency Alert Test at around 3pm on Sunday 7 September. The test alert will be sent to all compatible 4G and 5G mobile phones and tablets across the UK.

📢 A loud alarm will sound on mobile phones – even if they are set to silent.
People living with dementia may find the alert confusing or distressing. If you think the person you care for could be unsettled by it, you can switch the alerts off in your phone settings.

To opt-out:
📱iPhone: Search “Emergency Alerts” in settings → Turn off Severe & Emergency alerts
📱Android: Search “Emergency Alerts” in settings → Turn off Severe & Emergency alerts (and other threat categories if listed)
Our 24-hour Freephone Dementia Helpline (0808 808 3000) will be available throughout this time if you need support. 💜

With great sadness - The whole team will sincerely miss our wee Margaret 💔 Her bright smiling face first thing in the morning & her quick wit! Such a special lady.

Today some of the team went to pay their respects at Alan’s funeral on behalf of Lomond View 💚 Alan was such a loved man & after the service we have learned that he has always been the cheeky & witty man we came to know!

During the service Alan’s family extended their thank you to his care team & are forever grateful for the care provided 💚 Normally, funerals are a sad occasion, his service was full of laughter, joy & funny memories which made saying goodbye to Alan easier.

Here’s something we didn’t know about Alan! Many moons ago, Alan entered a competition to design a logo for Glenrothes signage. Long story short, his design can still be seen on our signs through the town - as seen below!
