A wonderful summer family BBQ 🍖 was enjoyed by all at Fleet Hall recently, we had a full Western theme with some great music 🎶 food and fun 🤩

Our home was full of great music and decorations, and as the families arrived they were treated to a line dancing presentation from some of the team 🕺🏻

Oliver the talented magician joined us in the afternoon and had a few new tricks up his sleeve 🪄

It was a wonderful day and our huge thanks go to the amazing kitchen and dining team for their great hospitality and team work, we enjoyed a great performance from Natasha who sang the afternoon away with lots of old country favourites 🤠

Horseshoe Lake is always a great local spot to visit with the residents without the long drive to the beach 🏝️ we watched kayaking, paddle boarding and sailing ⛵️ and families enjoying the summer holidays, 6 pots of Italian gelato 🍧 were devoured in minutes and lovely conversation had by all 😊

A wonderful afternoon out amongst the sunflowers 🌻 on Monday afternoon brought so much happiness for our lovely residents, as they had the opportunity to walk around the fields and flowers of the Rotherwick Patch, they got to choose and pick their own sunflowers to take home, and the weather was perfect ☀️ thank you to Marion and Lesley for assisting the residents on a beautiful annual trip to the sunflower fields 🌻

We have enjoyed two lovely trips out this week, with the roaring of planes overhead from Farnborough airshow 🛩️ we’ve visited Horseshoe Lake and Mychett Canal Centre, we enjoyed some home made fruit kebabs from Pam’s daughter which were devoured in minutes 🍡 and some very runny ice cream 🍦 too!
The weather has been a lot easier to manage for the trips this week so we’ve taken full advantage of it 🌞

We are all getting very excited about our Summer BBQ 🍖 on Sunday and look forward to our special day 🥳

A touching and inspiring art session yesterday as the group painted 🎨 and coloured from sketches of the beautiful photographs 📸 taken by our greatly missed late resident David Cooper. A lovely way to honour his work and memory!

Skydive completed ✈️🥳

A massive well done to our team members who took on the incredible challenge of a skydive 🪂 to raise money in support of Dementia UK. 💙

We are so proud of the courage they showed yesterday, to support a charity close to our hearts.

Please all join us in congratulating our superstars who really reached new heights, for a fantastic cause 🥳🥳🥳

A day at the seaside was just what was needed to blow the cobwebs away!

Southsea has almost finished the new sea front project, and it looks amazing, we enjoyed a great view with tables and chairs just perfect for an Avery picnic 🧺

We park at the D Day story carpark with facilities and wondered down the the ice cream van, where resident John treated us all to a refreshing ice lolly 🍭 a lovely trip down memory lane for our residents 🍦

Minibus 🚐 training completed at Fleet Hall yesterday, we were joined by colleagues from Esher Manor and Lavender Lodge, thank you to Keith from CTT for your support during the training🚌

2026 Fleet & District Carnival - Music through the decades 🎶🎸🎤

Today the staff, residents and some families came together to participate in one of the towns largest events.

Endless laughs were had by all as we joined the procession going through the town.

We all enjoyed coming together and supporting the Sebastian’s charity.

We are so happy to have the homes mini bus which we decorated and used to support more residents to join in with the local community.

To top of the fantastic day we came 1st place in the Motorised category 🥳🥇🥇🥇
