“My mum has made so many friends that she can sit and chat with. Before, when she was living alone at home, she often felt lonely and bored. She really enjoys the musical entertainment they regularly provide, as well as the other interesting activities. I can relax knowing she is so well looked after, day and night. A wonderful trip down the Basingstoke canal enjoying all the accessible boat Dawn ⛴️ has to offer, one of our own Activities Assistants Debbie was part of the two person crew on the day which was really nice for the residents 😊

The trip is 4 hours and we stopped for a lovely lunch along the way! Highly recommend this trip for all with great facilities and always helpful and supportive crew 🚤

Our Client Liaison Manager Melody, General Manager Louise and Dementia care manager Liam assisted some of our residents to enjoy a wonderful afternoon attending a dementia friendly community open garden event, at ’s community garden🌼🌿

We enjoyed exploring the beautiful gardens, taking in the wonderful and peaceful surroundings. The residents also really enjoyed helping make lavender bags and brought some home with them. 🪴

There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the afternoon, with delicious homemade cakes and a warm cup of tea enjoyed together in one of the polytunnels.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the local community, share conversations, and create special memories. Thank you to everyone involved for such a welcoming and enjoyable event. 💚
