What a lovely morning we had at our first First Look event this week!

Guests enjoyed delicious refreshments, wonderful live music from Jonathan Vinten, and the opportunity to take a look around and meet our team. As a special thank you, everyone received a gift of locally produced honey from Read Apiary.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success. We loved welcoming you and sharing what makes our community so special.

We've had a busy week celebrating some very special people here at Heron Manor! 🎉🎂💐

Firstly, we wished a very happy birthday to our Business Administrator, Api, and our Deputy Manager, Cristy. Thank you both for everything you do to support our team every day.

As if that wasn't enough excitement, we also had the opportunity to surprise one of our Directors, Ash, with a small baby shower as he prepares for an exciting new arrival. 👶🩷

At Principle Care Homes, our aim is to make people feel special every day. Taking time to celebrate life's special moments together helps create the warm, caring, and supportive environment we're so proud of.

Progress Update at Heron Manor, Fleet

Great progress continues across all areas of the project, with the development really starting to showcase its final look and feel.

Ground floor joinery is underway, while bedrooms are being transformed with new carpeting and decorative lighting. First-floor decoration is progressing well, and top floor joinery is moving forward steadily.

A standout milestone this month is the installation of the stunning curtain walling, already making a bold impression across the ground floor suite space and first-floor art studio 👏

Staircase works are advancing smoothly, with the second staircase nearly complete and the third set to begin next week.
Externally, garden decking has started, alongside ongoing stonework improvements.

The team also enjoyed a hard hat tour, seeing first-hand how the vision is coming to life – a fantastic moment for everyone involved!

A huge thank you to all teams for the continued hard work and dedication as we move confidently into the next phase 💪

Yesterday, Hannah, our Customer Relationship Manager, had the pleasure of meeting with Stepping Stones to celebrate International Tea Day. It was a wonderful opportunity for her to introduce herself and begin building a collaborative relationship for the future.

We are also delighted to share that Heron Manor presented a cheque to support the incredible work Stepping Stones does for our community 👏💛

🌙✨ Heron Manor Team Walks for a Great Cause ✨🌙

The Heron Manor team proudly took part in the MoonWalk on Saturday, raising an amazing £665 in support of breast cancer awareness. 💖

Everyone was incredibly proud to receive their medals after completing such a meaningful challenge. 🏅

One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was on our journey to Clapham Junction. Our taxi driver asked where we were heading, and when he learned about the MoonWalk, he kindly refused to take any fare, saying he wanted to contribute to the cause. 🚖💫
Such a beautiful reminder of the kindness and generosity that supports great causes like this.

Well done to the whole team – an incredible achievement for an important cause! 👏💕

Supporting our local community is incredibly important to us, and we’re grateful to play a small part in helping individuals and families facing difficult times.
