🌱 Supporting our Community 🌱

At Heron Manor Care Home, our July charity donation went too support the amazing work of Hart Community Gardens in Fleet.

Hart Community Gardens provides a fantastic space that brings people together from all generations and walks of life. They promote wellbeing, and offer opportunities for everyone to enjoy gardening, nature, and community spirit. Thank you for everything you do!

Earlier this year, the gardens sadly lost many of their seedlings due to a late frost. Martine from Hart Community Gardens told us that our donation will help fund additional cold frames, giving future plants the protection they need to thrive.

We're delighted to play a small part in helping such a wonderful community project continue to grow.

🌿 Our garden makeover continues! 🌿

Just look at the incredible number of plants that have arrived! From vibrant flowering shrubs and fragrant lavender to evergreen planting and beautiful trees, our landscaping team certainly have a big job ahead of them.

Alongside the stunning new planting, work is progressing on our beautiful timber gazebo, feature fountain and outdoor spaces, all of which are being thoughtfully designed to create peaceful, sensory-rich gardens for our residents to enjoy throughout the year.
We can't wait to watch everything grow and share the finished transformation with you! 💚

Exciting News!

Last week, our Maintenance Manager - Paul and Deputy Home Manager - Cristy successfully completed their Pool Plant Training for our hydrotherapy pool. A huge thank you to Phil, from DP Leisure, for his expert training and support.

We are incredibly proud that our home will be among the less than 1% of care homes in Hampshire to offer a dedicated hydrotherapy pool, giving our residents access to an exceptional wellbeing service.

👷‍♀️ WE LOVE HARD HATS! 🦺

One of the highlights of our week is our Friday site walk! Every week we're lucky enough to see the home come to life a little more, and it's amazing to see just how much progress is made from one week to the next.

Our gardens are really starting to take shape, and the hoarding at the front of the home is beginning to come down too... which means passers-by can finally sneak a little peek at what's been happening behind the scenes! 👀

We all have our favourite spot in the home already (although we can't quite agree on which one is the best! ), and we can't wait for our future residents to discover theirs.

🌟 Our First Networking Event – Thank You! 🌟

We were delighted to welcome so many local professionals to our very first networking event at the Heron Manor Marketing Suite yesterday.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us – it was fantastic to make new connections, catch up with familiar faces, and begin building a strong local network ahead of our opening.

We're excited to share that these networking events will now take place every month, giving us the opportunity to keep you updated on the progress of Heron Manor!

Our gardens have really taken shape this week – just in time for the beautiful weather! ☀️

We're so excited to see our outdoor spaces coming to life, and we can't wait for our residents to enjoy everything they have to offer.

Once complete, our gardens will feature a putting green, a BBQ area, a greenhouse and a beautiful fountain plus lots of seating - perfect for unwinding.

We can't wait to share the finished result with you!
