This week we’re shining a light on an important NHS screening programme just for men 👇
🩺 Are you turning 65?
You’ll be invited for a quick, simple scan to check for an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA).
An AAA happens when the wall of the aorta weakens and swells. It’s more common in men and often has no symptoms — so screening is the only way to detect it early.
⚠️ If left untreated and it bursts, it can be life-threatening.
✅ The good news?
• The scan is quick & painless
• You’ll get your results straight away
• It could save your life
