My latest project takes my client back to 1544, during the reign of King Henry VIII 👑
The family lived in the market town of Garstang, Lancashire, where they worked as skilled Wheelwrights, one of the oldest and most important crafts in history.
This family tree spans 14 generations of hardworking ancestors: Farmers who cultivated more than 120 acres of land, craftsmen who served their local communities, and villagers whose dedication helped shape the area.
Among them were respected Police Sergeants who lived and worked from the local police station, as well as Corn Millers, Slaters and Joiners, whose skills helped build and maintain their villages.
In later generations, members of the family proudly served in the Royal Air Force ✈️
A fascinating journey through nearly 5 centuries of family history, bringing names, places, occupations and stories from the past back to life.
