Watch the solar eclipse safely!

On Wednesday 12th August 2026, a spectacular partial solar eclipse will be visible across the UK.

Please protect your sight:

Only use certified solar eclipse glasses marked ISO 12312-2

Never look directly at the Sun without proper eye protection

Ordinary sunglasses are not safe—even very dark ones
Check your eclipse glasses for scratches or damage before use
