Entertainers wanted! 🎤💃🏻

We're looking to expand our roster of outside entertainers at Tudor Lodge - while our residents love a good singer, we're open to enquiries from people with all sorts of talents.

Anyone enquiring must have their own gear (mics etc) and appropriate liability insurance.

We can offer:

✅ Your full rate (we typically book an hour's performance)
✅ Regular bookings, following a trial performance to assess whether you're a good fit
✅ Connections to our sister homes around Folkestone and Dover
✅ Photos and videos for your own publicity

Carer-friendly communities create environments where support is part of everyday life - in our neighbourhoods, workplaces, and services - ensuring people have the understanding and opportunities they need to thrive.

At the heart of this are the millions of unpaid carers across the UK, who give their time, energy and compassion every day. According to the 2021 Census, there are around 5 million unpaid carers in England and Wales - around 1 in 11 people, including over 120,000 young carers in England.

At Sai Care Homes, we believe everyone has a role to play in strengthening these communities - helping carers feel seen, supported and empowered.

Hatfield Lodge and Tudor Lodge recently embarked on a wildlife-packed adventure to Wingham Wildlife Park - a much-loved destination!

We’re proud to share that we’ve been nominated for three awards at the Dementia Care Awards 🩷

The organisation itself has been nominated for the Dementia Friendly Business award, which recognises businesses that have developed and implemented incentives that support individuals living with dementia who use their services.

Two members of staff from Whitfield Residential Home have been nominated for individual awards - Imam Salish has been nominated for the Dementia Care Home Worker award, while Taz Nicholson has been nominated for the Dementia Frontline Leader award - we're all immensely proud of the both of them!

These nominations reflect the compassion, dedication and hard work shown by our teams every single day. Providing high‑quality, person‑centred dementia care is at the heart of what we do, and it’s wonderful to see that commitment acknowledged.
