We’ve got enough on our plates in this midlife era… and now you’re telling me my tongue puts on weight in menopause too?! 😩😂
Hormonal changes can affect muscle tone and tissue, which may be one reason that even if we’ve never snored before… suddenly we do. Our tongues might be a bit chubbier!
And maybe that disturbed sleep? The waking in the night thinking “I need a wee again…”
Sometimes it is.
But more likely… it’s actually poor breathing (probably mouth breathing) disrupting your sleep and nudging you awake. We might talk mouth taping too.
Cut us some slack here….
