Women over 40… this one’s for you.

Think you need an hour in the gym to tone your arms? You don’t.

Just 10 minutes. A pair of dumbbells. And consistency.

Strong arms aren’t just about looking good in a vest top—they help you carry shopping, lift grandchildren, improve bone health, support your metabolism, and make everyday life feel easier.

No fancy gym.
No complicated exercises.
No excuses.

Save this workout, give it a go, and let me know how your arms feel tomorrow!

People often ask me how I stay in shape when I’m travelling so much.

Honestly, I don’t have a secret. I don’t restrict food, I don’t “start again on Monday”, and I certainly don’t aim to be perfect.

I train whenever I can, even if it’s just a quick hotel gym session. I eat plenty of vegetables, make protein a priority, stay hydrated and keep moving.

Do I have a beer on holiday? Absolutely.
Do I enjoy dessert? Yes—but not every day.

As a woman over 50, I know how much our hormones can influence our appetite, energy, recovery and where we store body fat. That’s exactly why I focus on building habits that support my body rather than fighting against it.

For me, it’s never been about being the leanest person in the room. It’s about being strong, healthy, energised and able to enjoy life without guilt.

You don’t need to be perfect to get results. You just need to be consistent.

That’s what I teach my clients, and it’s how I live my own life too. DM me Energy for more information..

Protein Isn’t the Only Nutrient Women Over 40 Need.

Protein gets all the attention… but these are just as important.

* Fibre
* Calcium
* Omega-3 fats
* Colourful fruit & vegetables (polyphenols)
* Vitamin D

Which one do you think you could improve? DM me protein for more information

At nearly 51, here’s what I’ve learnt…

I’ve been a personal trainer for 15 +years. I’m also a nutritionist, health coach and menopause coach.

And if there’s one thing I know, it’s this…

We make health far more complicated than it needs to be.

You don’t need the latest diet.
You don’t need endless supplements.
You don’t need to spend hours in the gym.

You do need to lift weights a few times a week.
Eat enough protein and plenty of whole foods.
Keep moving in ways you enjoy—run, cycle, walk… it all counts.
Recover well.
Keep challenging yourself little by little.

As we go through peri-menopause and menopause, looking after our muscle isn’t about looking a certain way.

It’s about staying strong enough to live the life you want.

I want to travel.
I want to keep running.
I want to keep cycling.
I want to keep up with my son.
And one day, I want to be the grandma who says YES to every adventure.

Health doesn’t have to be complicated.

Do the basics well.
Do them consistently.

That’s where the magic happens. DM MAGIC to chat with me.

WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE MIDDLE?

“I’ve never had a tummy before…

I hear this all the time from perimenopausal and menopausal ladies.

The answer isn’t one magic food, one supplement or one workout.

It’s understanding what’s changing in your body and making small, realistic changes that support your health.

Because most women don’t just want to lose belly fat.

They want to:
• Feel comfortable in their clothes.
• Have more energy.
• Sleep better.
• Feel confident again.

That’s what real progress looks like. Drop Energy in the comments below if you’d like to find out more.

Who else loves a renegade row?

This is one exercise I come back to time and time again.

Yes, it works your arms… but that’s only part of it.

It also challenges your core, improves upper-body strength, helps with posture, and gets lots of muscles working at the same time.

During menopause, maintaining muscle is one of the best things you can do for your health. It supports strength, bone health, metabolism and helps you stay capable in everyday life.

If you’re looking to feel fitter, stronger and more confident, exercises like this are well worth including.

I’m putting together some of my favourite exercises for sculpting your arms.

DM me SCULPT and I’ll send them over.
