Happy Father's Day to all the dads, step dads, grandads and father figures. Father's Day can look different for everyone- so thinking of you if you're celebrating, remembering, grieving, or simply getting through the day.

I was fortunate to be able to attend the Father's Day Memorial Service at Westerleigh Crematorium this morning. It was a lovely, moving service led by Ross from Roy Preddy Funeral Directors and a special time to remember my own Dad who passed away 8 years ago.
Always remembered, always loved ❤️

There's no doubt that direct cremations are increasingly popular for a variety of reasons, but the adverts of some large companies often give a very misleading idea of what is, and more importantly what is not, included. One company's recent advert has been banned for some of their claims.

If you are considering a direct cremation please do research what they offer and compare with local Funeral Directors in your area before you make a decision.

Pure Cremation’s advert has been pulled be regulators for claiming an attended funeral service was part of its standard plan

🌳 The Mulberry Tree

Bathed in sunshine, our Mulberry Tree looks particularly beautiful at this time of year. The steel framed tree is adorned with individual heart shaped leaf plaques, each dedicated to the memory of a loved one.

The sunlight illuminates the green leaves, creating a striking and lasting tribute within our memorial gardens.
