We are also a member of SAIF (National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors). Our office and rest rooms are located in Fraserburgh. We also have another office, Buchan Funerals, in Mintlaw. Both of which cover the whole of the North East of Scotland and offer a full 24 hour service. Our aim is to treat every funeral with our fullest care and attention and to be there for you in time of bereavement. Acknowledgement - Ronald and family would like to express their sincere thanks to all family, friends and neighbours for the many kind messages and acts of kindness shown to them on the recent sad passing of Helen. Special thanks to Claire, Fiona, Christina, Sarah-Jane and Elaine for all the help, kindness and friendship given to Helen these last few years. Cherished wife of Bob, treasured mam of Gillian and Robert and loving mother-in-law to Bryan and Fiona, a proud and adored grandma to Rory, Fergus, Logan, Gemma, Louise and the late Hannah. Beloved and cherished wife of the late Jack, much loved and loving mum to Jacqueline, Colin and Michael, dear mother-in-law of Don and a good friend to all who knew her. It is with great sadness we announce the sudden but peaceful passing at his home on Thursday August 20, 2026, of Shosh (George), aged 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Amy, loving dad of George, John and Shona, dear father-in-law, devoted granda to Jodie Louise, Vicki, Jennifer, Craig, Mark, Kristopher and Amy Maree, adored great granda of 8, and good friend and relative to all who knew him. Shosh will be sadly missed. Funeral from Alexander Buchan & Son, Funeral Chapel, on Tuesday September 1, at 11am, thereafter to Fraserburgh Leisure Centre, all friends respectively invited. Acknowledgement - Helen, Raymond (Jody), Ella-may, Susan and family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all family, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy they have received by way of cards, flowers, visits and messages following the sad loss of Raymond. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to all those who cared for Raymond over the last few months of his life.

Acknowledgement - Jessie, Wilma and Lilian would like to thank all family and friends who have helped us to celebrate Bill’s life. Bill was loved by so many people and this brings us great comfort at this sad time. Sincere thanks to Owen and his team at Alexander Buchan & Son Funeral Directors who guided us with such kindness and professionalism. Special thanks to Rhoda Mcdonald for her fitting tributes and lovely readings during the day of Bill’s funeral. A huge thank you to the staff of St Modans Care Home, for all their love and kindness to Bill and our family, it will be forever appreciated. Thanks to Lynette at Sunflowers; to The Old Parish Church Centre staff for the refreshments; to Philip Stewart for the wonderful slideshow and for all the generous donations for our charities. Thank you also to everyone for the very many cards sent to the family. Bill will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
