I couldn’t have said it better myself ☺️
New certificates ready to go up 🤓
Did you know that it's illegal to call yourself a Chiropractor in the UK unless you are registered with the General Chiropractic Council?
To be a Chiropractor you must have qualified in Chiropractic from an accredited College or University (4 to 5 years training)
Then we have to renew our registration annually by:
- Completing the necessary 30 hours of
Continued Professional Development (CPD)
to stay up to date with best practices
- Completing an extensive application form
and passing the GCC audit.
- Ensuring we have the correct Insurance in
place
- Keeping up to date with our First Aid training
- Adhering to the GCC's code of conduct,
focusing on integrity, ethics, honesty and
patient safety
It's not our favourite part of being a Chiropractor but it's there to protect our patients, so you can be safe in the knowledge that your Chiropractor is fully qualified, competent and up to date with their knowledge and skills.
If you're looking to see a Chiropractor for the first time, be sure to check that they are registered with the GCC. 😊
