A good way to leave instructions to use a new mobile for an older person is to take a good photo of the phone and add really simple instructions on the side of that photo and laminate it. This way there are simple instructions to follow. A laminate ensures it will not be torn if the instructions are too difficult to follow. Try with coloured sticky dots.
