This Sepsis Awareness Month, our amazing staff and residents came together to help educate our local community about sepsis — recognising the signs, understanding the importance of early action, and knowing when to seek help.

We opened our doors, shared information and had some really important conversations with members of our community. ❤️

A slightly late post, but a birthday this special deserves to be celebrated!

On 11th September 1939, a very special lady came into the world — and we were delighted to celebrate Barbara’s birthday surrounded by her wonderful family and the amazing Banksfield team. 🥳

Barbara had a fantastic day filled with smiles, laughter, love and, of course, CAKE! 🎂❤️

A huge shout-out to our talented Chef Chris, who created a truly amazing birthday cake for Barbara. 👨‍🍳What a skill! It looked fantastic and, most importantly, helped make Barbara’s celebration extra special.

Thank you to all our staff and Barbara’s family for coming together and helping make her day one to remember. It’s moments like these that make birthdays at Banksfield so meaningful. ❤️

🐾 Something very special is coming to Banksfield! 🐾

We’re delighted to be welcoming Home Safari Pet Therapy to Banksfield on Tuesday 22nd September for a wonderful afternoon of animal-assisted therapy!

Our residents and families will have the opportunity to meet and interact with a fantastic selection of animals, including Peggy the cocker spaniel, a giant rabbit, chinchillas, cockatiels, bearded dragons and skinny pigs.

And that’s not all! We’ll also be meeting a tortoise, a guinea pig and Button, the adorable older skunk who apparently loves cuddles!

It promises to be a fun, relaxing and therapeutic afternoon filled with plenty of cuddles, smiles and memorable moments. We can’t wait! 🐾
