In the words of the lovely lady who runs my Weds evening exercise classes ..Boom that's another weekend gone....more running and walking, more carrying water to the allotment (& picking tomatoes), more laundry, more failing to get my bulk emails sorted.... but still no rain ....

Good afternoon 🌞

I’m trying to catch up on some admin before I go up to the allotment when it’s less sunny.

I had a wonderful day yesterday, taking part in a 24 mile event called the Calderdale Crawl, starting near Greetland, passing through Sowerby Bridge, and looping around from the Calderdale Valley, via Ripponden.. I travelled up with 2 friends and a dog, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the route and the people we met.

I’m updating availability for August and September and will post it on our client page later this evening, but I’ve got quite a few appointments free this week as lots of regulars are away on holiday, so if you’re waiting to book in, please get in touch.

Good afternoon.. well I’m still waiting for the showers that various weather apps promised for today…

The allotment is dry and windswept, but it’s still producing some colourful flowers to brighten the treatment room.

I’m having some work done on the gravelled area parking space this week. Could you please park on the block paved drive whilst the work is completed and settles - thank you.

It’s been lovely to treat a few new clients the last couple of weeks. With summer holidays now in full swing for many, I have a few extra slots available.

My diary is now booking into October.

Good evening I hope all is good with you..

I had a lovely 21 mile walk in the Wolds yesterday with 2 friends and a delightful cocker-collie dog. It was perfect weather for walking - not too hot for her and we had plenty of water with us.

It was definitely a little cooler last week, much to the relief of some of you.

I’ll be sharing details of various events I’m involved with over the next weeks, especially the Macmillan Fundraisers in September. I hope you don’t mind!

As I write I’ve got 1 space left this week on Friday, and a few the week after. My full availability for the next 6 weeks is on my client page - if you’re not

Good evening... the sarongs out of the freezer and the cold blocks under feet were very popular last week .. the coming week looks a little less warm but I'll keep doing my best to keep you comfortable...

I had a lovely cycle ride today- part of the bike ride, BBQ and funday in Stow.. over 40 people completed the 9 mile route.. from young primary school age to well into retirement, those taking part enjoyed pedalling along quiet country lanes and private farm roads that are usually closed to the public, passing fields of beautifully scented purple phacelia, bemused cattle and the unique St Edith's church at Coates. A great community event (with thankfully no calls on my first aid skills this year!!)

My September diary is now open. It's always a busy month - and I've confirmed I'll be at the Macmillan fundraiser in Lincoln hosted by the amazing Sharon Queen on Monday 14th September and I'll be at The Cross Keys Stow on Friday 25th for the annual Macmillan event that we host there... more details nearer the time but do put the date in your diaries.
