Recently we had the privilege to look after a gentleman who was an artist.
He loved art and taught many people to paint and appreciate art over the years.
What better way to add a personal touch to his funeral service than having his family and students paint his coffin. The whole family took part and we ended up with a coffin depicting many things Fred liked as well as various styles of art.
The order of service also had his artwork on the front and back covers.
He went home the day before his cremation service to allow for some private family time …one last time.
The following day he was driven by his daughter, in their camper van, to the crematorium and was piped to the front door and onto the catafalque by his son, son-in-law and grandson.
His family took part throughout the service and it was truly beautiful.
If you have any special requests, please don’t hesitate to talk to us about them. We are always able to accommodate family requests, big or small. Just ask…
Thanks to the Carson family for allowing us to share the photos and allowing us to help with the final journey.
