The family of Kathleen have asked us to share the news of her passing

Kathleen Siddall
Aged 88 years
Passed away on 18th June 2026

She lived from 2006 at 22 Ashcroft Close, Caton, LA2 9RX, up to the point of going into Ashton Manor Care Home in October 2020 following a dementia diagnosis. Prior to that she lived at Claughton and Bay Horse.

The majority of her working life up to retirement in 1996 was spent as an Executive in the Salaries and Pensions Department at both the Preston and later Lancaster Health Authorities.

In retirement she enjoyed home life and travelling with her partner Ray Richardson (1926-2013) and was involved in many of the retirement activities of the Caton Leisure Club.

Funeral service to be held at the Lancaster & Morecambe Crematorium, Powder House Lane, Lancaster, LA2 6AD at 12.30pm on Friday 10th July 2026.

Aged 31 years
Passed away at home

Cherished husband to Anne-Marie, devoted daddy to Sophia, Charlotte and Joseph, much loved son of Stephen & June, Special brother of Phil & Josh, son-in-law, brother-in-law, grandson, uncle, nephew & friend of many.

Funeral Service to be held at Lune Valley Methodist Hub, Brookhouse on Saturday 4th July 2026 at 1pm.

We have been asked by John's family to share the news of his passing.

John Hoban aged 92 years from Turnpike Fold, Slyne-with-Hest passed away peacefully on 7 June 2026 at the Lancaster Royal Infirmary surrounded by his family.

He will be greatly missed. A special thanks to the medical and nursing staff at Ward 37 who provided exceptional care for John in his final weeks.

John’s funeral will take place from 12 noon on Thursday 2 July at St Mary of the Angels RC Church, Main Road, Bolton-le-Sands, LA5 8DN with a committal at 1:30pm at Lancaster and Morecambe Crematorium, Powder House Lane, Lancaster, LA2 6AD
