Happy full moon day 🌝✨
What is working well for you? What are you ready to let go of?
The Sturgeon Moon is August’s traditional full moon. Sometimes called the Red or the Grain moon it most famously goes by the large, ancient sturgeon fish which were once plentiful in the Great Lakes of North America.
Spiritually, this moon is associated with abundance, gratitude, and perseverance. It invites you to recognise the strength you’ve cultivated and how far you’ve travelled. To take stock and harvest the growth and learning in both your inner and outer worlds.
It can be a lovely moment to acknowledge what is already flourishing in your life, release what feels complete, and to make space for what you are ready to welcome in.
A simple ritual for the Sturgeon Moon:
1.
Light a candle.
2.
Sit quietly for a few minutes and write down three things you are grateful for, one thing you are ready to release, and one intention you would like to carry forward.
3.
Then take a moment to simply sit beneath the moon and allow yourself to feel the fullness of where you are now.
With love,
Fiona
