Last month (May) we lost 174 appointments because patients
DID NOT ATTEND

33 of these were Doctors appointments
102 were to see other members of our clinical team - Nurses, HCAs and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.

If you no longer need your appointment , please cancel it so another patient can use it.

What can you do on the NHS App? Probably much more than you think.

• request repeat prescriptions
• check if medicines are ready to collect
• see past and current medicines
• choose a pharmacy
• use a digital barcode instead of a paper prescription
• ask your GP about a health problem
• check for GP surgery appointments
• change or cancel appointments
• see your appointment notes
• request a letter or information, such as a fit note (sick note)
• see some hospital and specialist referrals and waiting list information
• see your latest results and your test history
• check and book vaccinations
• see your vaccination history
• see information about your health conditions, allergies and adverse reactions
• see letters and documents from your GP surgery or hospital

We are currently experiencing staff shortages alongside a significant increase in demand for appointments.
As a result, appointment availability is more limited than usual, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
If you have recently been discharged from hospital and require a wound check or blood tests requested by the hospital, please contact the surgery as soon as possible to arrange an appointment.
We are currently experiencing a waiting time of approximately two weeks for routine appointments, so early booking is essential to help ensure your care is provided in a timely manner.
