🌞🎉 What a Summer Fete! 🎉🌞

Yesterday, we held our Summer Fete at Grace Manor, and what a wonderful day it was! 💐☀️
We had a fantastic variety of stalls, a delicious BBQ, lots of fun, smiles and plenty of laughter. 🎪🍔
It was great to see so many of our residents and their families having fun together, spending quality time with one another and enjoying the day. ❤️

A huge thank you to all the stall holders who came along, everyone who volunteered their time, and everyone who supported us. Your help and generosity made the day truly special. 🥰

We hope everyone enjoyed the Summer Fete as much as we did. It was wonderful to see Grace Manor filled with such a fantastic community spirit and to make some lovely summer memories together! 🌸☀️

☀️🎉 TOMORROW IS THE DAY! 🎉☀️

Our Grace Manor Summer Fete is happening tomorrow, and we’re so excited to welcome you all!
We’re looking forward to a fantastic day filled with fun, laughter, stalls, games, food and plenty of summer spirit!

💳 A little reminder about payment:
Many of our outside stallholders will have card machines, however, please remember that our BBQ, drinks stall, raffle tickets and all Grace Manor stalls & games will be CASH ONLY.
So don’t forget to bring your pennies with you! 🪙

🚗 Parking:
Parking will be limited, so if you’re able to walk to us, we’d really appreciate it. This will help us make sure there’s enough space for those who need to park closer to the home.

We can’t wait to see our residents, families, friends and local community tomorrow! 😎

🛍️ A Little Retail Therapy at Grace Manor! 👗🛒

We’re excited to welcome Gemini Mobile Clothes Shop to Grace Manor on Wednesday 26th August, from 10:30am – 12:30pm! 🎉

There will be a lovely selection of clothing available, with prices ranging from £5 to £25 per item, giving our residents the perfect opportunity to enjoy a little retail therapy. 💕👚

Families & loved ones:
If you’d like to come along and take your loved one clothes shopping, we’d absolutely love to see you there!
Alternatively, we kindly ask that residents have money available in their personal pot should they wish to purchase anything on the day.

We’re looking forward to a fun morning of browsing, choosing and shopping together!

🍦 A lovely day at Grace Manor! ☀️
Today we celebrated Cornetto Day, and it was safe to say our residents thoroughly enjoyed cooling down with a delicious Cornetto! 🍦😋

The preparations for our Summer Fete are also in full swing, with Lewis continuing to work hard on his fantastic painting ready for the big day this Saturday. 🎨

We've also included a couple of snaps from yesterday, capturing Darren and Rosemary deep in a very competitive game of Scrabble! There were plenty of laughs, lots of concentration, and maybe even a little friendly rivalry!😊
There's always something happening at Grace Manor, and we love sharing these special moments with you. W

This Saturday is the big day, and we can't wait to welcome everyone for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun, food and community spirit! 🎉

Please help us spread the word by sharing our Summer Fete poster far and wide. The more people who hear about it, the bigger the buzz, and the more successful the day will be for everyone! 💙

🎟️ Our raffle is now up and running, and we have some absolutely amazing prizes up for grabs!

It seems that our resident cats, Simba and Nala, have been taking shelter under cars in the car park to escape the hot sun.
If you're visiting or leaving the home, please take a moment to check under and around your car before setting off. A quick look could make all the difference in keeping our furry friends safe and sound.

✨ A great afternoon at Gents Social Club! ✨

This afternoon, the gentlemen at Grace Manor enjoyed a friendly game of Scrabble during our weekly Gents Social Club. The afternoon was filled with plenty of conversation, laughter, friendly banter, and just a little healthy competition as everyone put their word skills to the test!
A huge thank you to Helen for kindly donating our new Scrabble board. It was an instant success and everyone loved using it. We're sure it will provide many hours of enjoyment and become a firm favourite at future social clubs.We are so grateful for your generosity.

🎤🎶 What a fantastic afternoon we had yesterday at Grace Manor! 🎶🎤

What started as a music quiz soon turned into an unforgettable karaoke and sing-along session! 🎵 Residents were having so much fun that they couldn't resist joining in with some timeless classics from Queen, The Rolling Stones, Doris Day, Journey, and Michael Jackson.

The room was filled with energy, laughter, and plenty of happy faces. Feet were tapping, hands were clapping, and voices were singing along as everyone enjoyed the music together. It was wonderful to see so many residents reminiscing, sharing memories, and embracing the joy that music brings.

Sometimes the best activities are the ones that take on a life of their own, and this was certainly one of them! We can't wait for our next music afternoon and another chance to sing our hearts out together. 🎶💙

The August activities guide is now available, packed with a wide range of events and things to do throughout the month. From the much-anticipated Summer Fete, music therapy sessions, quiz evenings, pamper afternoons, Scrabble, the gents social club, Mocktail Monday and lots more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

What a fantastic week we've had at Grace Manor! 💙

⛳ Our Golf Afternoon was a wonderful success, and it was lovely to see so many family members joining in the fun. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and some great shots too!

☕ We also hosted a very successful Veterans Coffee Morning, welcoming fellow veterans from Pembroke House and our local community. Everyone enjoyed delicious bacon sandwiches and homemade Victoria sponge cake, which was definitely the star of the morning! It was a special opportunity to catch up, share stories, and celebrate friendships.

🤝 Friendship Day brought everyone together to enjoy each other's company, followed by a relaxing Cinema Afternoon where residents enjoyed watching Pirates of the Caribbean with plenty of popcorn and refreshments.
It's been another week full of fun, friendship, and creating wonderful memories together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made these events so special! 💙
