What a lovely weekend we shared in our Bistro and one of our Lounges.

Coffee & Games Social Hour. It was a wonderful time spent reminiscing, sharing stories, laughter and creating special moments together.

Over the weekend many of our residents were delighted to welcome visits from their family members, making the weekend even more meaningful. The smiles, conversations and precious memories captured in these photos truly speak volumes.

Sometimes it's the simple things in life a warm Brew, a friendly game, cherished company and time spent with loved ones that bring the greatest joy. Thank you to everyone who helped make this weekend so special. ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful morning getting creative by painting birdhouses for our garden. 🎨🐦

The activity sparked lovely conversations as everyone shared ideas about the colours they wanted to use, reminisced about gardens they had enjoyed over the years and discussed the perfect spots to place the birdhouses once they were finished. It was heartwarming to see residents expressing their creativity, encouraging one another and taking pride in creating something special that will brighten our outdoor space and welcome visiting birds.

Moments like these are about so much more than painting,they bring people together, inspire memories and create a real sense of achievement and community. We can’t wait to see our colourful birdhouses displayed around the garden for everyone to enjoy. 💚

Osbern Manor is getting muddy for a fantastic cause!

On Friday 4th July, our team will be taking part in a fun-filled Pretty Muddy fundraising event in support of Cancer Research UK. We’ll be getting messy, laughing together, and raising money to help fund life-saving cancer research.

Every donation, big or small, will help make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Seated exercise is a fantastic way to help maintain mobility, improve flexibility, build strength and support overall wellbeing, all while being accessible and enjoyable for everyone. The session was filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of movement, helping residents stay active, social and engaged.

Today at Osbern, we celebrated National Cheese Day with a wonderful afternoon in our bistro. Residents gathered together to enjoy a delicious selection of cheeses and crackers, accompanied by a glass of wine... or perhaps two! 🍷🧀

Beyond being a tasty treat, sharing food and conversation brings many benefits. Social gatherings like these help promote wellbeing, encourage meaningful connections, stimulate memories and create opportunities for laughter and friendship. It's often the simple pleasures that bring the greatest joy.
