!Yoga Nidra Gong Bath alert!
In case you are free next Thursday, myself and Daren Harper are collaborating to offer a Yoga Nidra Gong Bath.
Everyone is welcome.
If you haven't experienced it before, Yoga Nidra - nidra means sleep - is a lying down practice where you are guided for a while into the state between being awake and being asleep. It is a receptive state of openness, which can be deeply restful for the nervous system. You don't need any experience in either yoga or meditation to enjoy a Yoga Nidra session.
If you haven't experienced it before... a Gong Bath does not involve water! Instead you simply allow the rich vibrations of the gongs to wash over you. Daren is an exquisite gong player and teacher, who trained with Sheila Whittaker at the College of Sound Healing, where he now assists with training. Much like with practising Yoga Nidra, receiving sound in this way can support the body's natural processes of rest, recovery, and wellbeing.
Yoga Nidra Gong Bath session:
There's no physical practice really beforehand, maybe just a bit of a shaking out the fidgets, so all you need to do is lie down and be guided into the receptive state of yoga nidra, and once there, allow gentle sound waves from the gong to travel through the space of your body.
Mats, cushions, blankets and eye pillows will be provided, and after our session, if you want to, you are welcome to stay and enjoy a herbal tea on the lawn beneath some rosy red apple trees.
This practice is super accessible and a real treat, so feel free to invite friends!
You can book it here:

We look forward to welcoming you into this restful, healing space.
