The Generation Study, led by Genomics England in partnership with the NHS, offers a free, safe genome screening for babies, testing for 200+ rare conditions just hours after birth. We are one of 38 trusts across the country who are taking part.

Our dedicated research midwives will then be in touch to provide more information and guide you through the consent process.

⚠️Consent is essential for participation.
⚠️Registering online 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 count as consent.
⚠️Each study at Medway requires separate consent.
⚠️Consent can only be completed during Antenatal period, unable to consent during labour or after birth.
⚠️To be part of this study you need to speak to one of the research midwives.
