Yesterday afternoon, we had the pleasure of welcoming Avril and Barbara from Maidens Bowling Club, who introduced us to the fun of carpet bowls.

What started as a friendly afternoon quickly turned into some healthy competition, with everyone eager to show off their bowling skills!

The activity was such a success that it will now become a monthly event, and we are already looking forward to welcoming Avril and Barbara back again. Thank you both for a fantastic afternoon filled with laughter, fun, and friendly rivalry!

Yesterday morning, we enjoyed one of our favourite bus trips to Vibrant Voices at the Carrick Centre in Maybole.

Vibrant Voices is a warm, friendly, and supportive choir for people living with communication difficulties, and it’s always a highlight in our calendar.

With the World Cup excitement in the air, everyone was feeling wonderfully patriotic and ready to cheer on their team! It was a fantastic morning filled with music, laughter, and great company, and everyone had a fabulous time. 🎢🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❀️

These heartfelt videos offer a wonderful glimpse into life at Malin Court, highlighting how much our residents enjoy their time here and the reassurance it gives their families to know their loved ones are truly in a home-from-home environment.

At Malin Court, we are incredibly proud of the close-knit community we have created. We see ourselves as one big family, and every member of our team genuinely cares for our residents as though they were part of their own family. To get everyone in the spirit and ready to cheer on Scotland in the World Cup, we kicked off the afternoon with a fantastic rendition of Flower of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

What a truly wonderful afternoon we've had celebrating Mrs Jean Dunlop's 100th Birthday! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‚

The celebrations were made even more special with outstanding entertainment from The Tartan Tenor, followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea enjoyed by residents and staff alike

There was plenty of singing, laughter and happy memories shared throughout the afternoon. A fantastic time was had by everyone as we celebrated this incredible milestone with our lovely Jean πŸ’–βœ¨πŸ₯‚

Some of our staff are off to Aberdeen today for the Renaissance Celebration Event, and our wonderful management team made sure the staff staying on duty were well looked after with a fabulous spread of treats and drinks! πŸ’›
