We have just about recovered from our fantastic Summer Fair on Sunday! ☀️
What an incredible day it was. The sun was shining, the atmosphere was wonderful, and we were absolutely run off our feet from start to finish!
We are delighted to share that we raised an amazing £1,655, which will go directly into our Residents' Comfort Fund to help create even more special experiences for those who live at Malin Court.
Here are just a few of the photos we managed to capture throughout the day. Every single person involved deserves a huge thank you for helping make the event such a tremendous success.
A special thank you goes to our amazing chefs and restaurant team – Iain, Lawrence, Ryan, Ian, Cerys and Tiegan – who were undoubtedly among the busiest people there! The cream teas were absolutely spectacular, and their hard work, dedication and attention to detail certainly did not go unnoticed.
Thank you to everyone who hosted a stall on the day. Each one was beautifully presented and helped create such a fantastic community atmosphere.
A huge thank you to Mark Johnstone for crafting his beautiful wooden planters and generously donating all proceeds to our Residents' Comfort Fund.
Thank you to the wonderful Little Peru Crew – Claire Louise, Robin, Hayden, Amelie, Scarlett and Daisy – for bringing along their beautiful alpacas and keeping everyone entertained throughout the day.
We would also like to give a special thank you to Natalie, Abby and Fiona, who kindly volunteered their time to help us on the day. Your support was greatly appreciated.
Finally, thank you to all of our staff who helped organise the event, donated prizes for the raffle and tombola, and even gave up their day off to come along and lend a hand. Your hard work, enthusiasm and teamwork helped make the day such a memorable success.
