The sun was shining, the atmosphere was electric as our celebration continued. Our residents and guests had an amazing time while entertained by Kenny Wilson who sang a variety of lively upbeat songs at our outdoor concert which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

We enjoyed visits from family, friends, former staff and our neighbours from Buchanan Nursery and Buchanan House.

We also celebrated one of our residents who’s birthday fell on the same day as our party, happy birthday Margaret❤️

Following all the outdoor fun, we continued inside with a raffle and afternoon celebration cakes and bubbly 🍾🤍

We would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who supported us on this wonderful day and who have supported us over the last 30 years ✨🤍

At our 30th celebration party we displayed memory boards showcasing just some of the many events which have taken place over the last 30 years. Some of the highlights being, famous on television, celebrating anniversaries and royal occasions, visits from famous celebrities and supporting charities with our many fundraising events - We have had an absolute ball!!!🎉💫

Complementing the memory boards are yearly photograph albums on display, brimming full of pictures of all our fantastic memories of staff, residents, families and friends. We will leave the boards and albums on display for the rest of the week✨

Here at Buchanan Lodge we celebrated our 30th anniversary. Our Home Manager Margaret Carroll alongside Regional Support Manager Vicky Hill welcomed Care Concern Group owner Paul Tatla for a wonderful afternoon of celebrations!

Our Deputy Home Manager Johann Wilson and Activities Coordinator Allison Blair were presented with gifts as they both celebrated their 30 years of service, having been with Buchanan Lodge since the home opened.

This week here in Buchanan Lodge we enjoyed our “Chin Wag” with our friends from Castlehill Baptist Church who brought in home baking for our afternoon tea. Allison, our Activities Coordinator, gave a presentation about “J & P Coats and Paisley”. Everyone was absolutely delighted to see the beautiful embroideries and really appreciated all the skill involved.❤️🎉🥰💫✨
