It’s that nerve-wracking time of year again when Scottish school pupils receive their exam results tomorrow. Waiting for result day may bring a whole range of emotions…😰🫣😬 all of which are completely normal and understandable. Nervousness, anxiety, worry, fear, excitement, dread, anticipation, amongst many other feelings (for both the young person and parent / carer!).

Whatever the outcome, it’s always important to remember that these exam results, no matter if they are what you hoped for or if you end up feeling disappointed with them, do not define you or your worth. You are you, and we all have our own path in life and not all of these paths should or need to be linked to the outcome of exams. Let us celebrate the efforts and achievements in all areas of life, be it at school or home and beyond 🙌🏼🥳

We wish the pupils of Scotland well, whatever the outcome ❤️
