🎭 Looking for something creative to do on a Saturday?
We currently have spaces available in our Saturday Drama group at Nemo Arts and would love to welcome some new faces.
The group is for adults experiencing poor mental health who would benefit from getting out, meeting people and taking part in something creative and enjoyable.
No acting experience is needed. Our drama sessions are relaxed and supportive, with games, improvisation, character work and plenty of opportunities to build confidence, try something new and have a laugh along the way.
📅 Saturdays, 2.30–4.30pm
📍 Nemo Arts Studio, 128–130 Bridgegate, Glasgow
💙 Free to attend
People can self-refer, or we welcome referrals and signposting from NHS, social care, housing and third-sector organisations.

It’s a chance to show them where you spend your time, introduce them to the people you’ve met and share some of the creativity that makes Nemo Arts special.

Drop into the studio, meet our tutors and participants, try some creative activities and enjoy a friendly afternoon together.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Linda Yates last month. She was a much-loved part of Common Wheel and will be greatly missed by everyone here, as well as by many other people and organisations across Glasgow.

After speaking with others who knew Linda, we felt it would be nice to have some way of saying goodbye and celebrating Linda’s life. Therefore, we have decided to have a gathering at Campbell House where everyone who knew Linda can come together, whether they knew her through Common Wheel or through another area of her life.

Friday 4th September from 1-3pm
Campbell House in the grounds of Gartnavel Royal Hospital (google maps: Common Wheel, Campbell House).
There will be tea, coffee and light refreshments.

The event is open to everyone, so please feel free to share this with anyone who knew Linda and might like to come along.
We hope you can join us to remember Linda and celebrate her life.

A reminder that tomorrow we are joined in the Nemo Arts Studio by Critical Chance Collective.
They are running 2 free workshops, 20th August 12pm - 2pm and the following Thursday.

Expect a playful atmosphere filled with conversation, creativity and collaborative storytelling suitable for a wide range of ages and experience levels.

Step inside Grannies Hoose, a warm and welcoming interactive storytelling experience where strange tales, curious characters and unexpected adventures may be waiting behind every door.

What a great day we had yesterday at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for our Summer Showcase. A huge thank you to all of our participants, volunteers and staff for making the event such a great success.

Looking back at our incredible collaboration with Surge Scotland! 💛

Street theatre takes courage, commitment, and teamwork. Over eight weeks of workshops, our Turtles and Fish developed their performance skills, built confidence, and grew into a fantastic ensemble before taking their performances to the streets of Merchant City.

They brought joy, curiousity, and wonder to wherever they went, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they achieved together. A huge congratulations to everyone involved! 🐢🐟
