Most clinicians can teach.
But not all clinicians can educate.
There's a difference.

Some people share information. Others change how people think, learn, and perform. They create engagement. They challenge assumptions. They make knowledge stick.

If you work in the medical device industry and need access to operating theatres, you'll almost certainly need a Theatre Access Qualification.

This is because hospitals have a responsibility to ensure that everyone entering restricted clinical areas understands patient safety, infection control, legal responsibilities, professional conduct and clinical protocols.

But here's something many people don't realise: not all Theatre Access Qualifications are the same. In fact, "Theatre Access Qualification" is a generic term. Two people can hold qualifications with the same name on a credentialling register, yet one may have completed a short unregulated course while the other holds a nationally regulated qualification benchmarked to National Occupational Standards.

That's why we've developed a nationally regulated Theatre Access Qualification that demonstrates you have the knowledge and competence to work safely and professionally in clinical environments.

Explore this in our latest article where we explain why the distinction matters for healthcare companies, hospitals and patient safety.
