The Regional educators have said a fond farewell to one of their own. Jane Robertson, Practice Development Nurse covering The Beatson, West of Scotland Cancer Care Centre has retired after a significant career within oncology services. Her commitment and passion to patient safety were the basis for all her projects.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDANCE📝 :

· Abstracts can showcase any aspects of best practice within your clinical area.

· Abstracts should state clearly if being considered for a poster presentation, oral presentation or both.

· Abstracts should be submitted using the abstract submission form.

· Abstracts should be no more than 400 words. · Submit abstracts to: [email protected] by 18th September 2026.

· Upon submission you will receive an email confirming receipt of the abstract.

· Notifications regarding the status of your abstract will be sent by 2nd October 2026 📅.

The Glasgow Renal & Transplant Unit bid a fond farewell to Advanced Nurse Practitioner James McLachlan. With over 40 years experience, James was a trusted face within the unit and supported the development of many staff, both current and past.
