The recent Advertising Standards Authority ruling against Pure Cremation television advert is an important reminder that families should always be careful at what is included and what isn’t when comparing funeral options. The Advertising Standards Authority found that the advert misled viewers into believing that an attended funeral service formed part of their standard direct cremation package (unattended), when this was not the case.
Here at Malone & Fox, our unattended service offers a simple, respectful and dignified way to say goodbye with the reassurance that your loved one is cared for by us, your own local and trusted funeral directors.
Your loved one will be cared for by our experienced team; from the moment they come into our care. We make all the necessary arrangements, including completing the required paperwork and coordinating the cremation at your local crematorium. You also have the opportunity for your family to spend time with your loved one in our Chapel of Rest, if they wish to do so.
On the day itself, there is no formal service, or attendees present other than ourselves, allowing families freedom to remember their loved one in their own personal way, at a time and place that feels right for them.
Throughout the process your loved one is treated with the utmost care, compassion and respect- giving you peace of mind during this difficult time.
