The Courtyard Pantry will be hosting a Parent Network Scotland 8‑week course beginning Wednesday the 19th of August and running weekly until 7th October.

The brilliant Jennifer Caldwell will guide you through practical tools for wellbeing, confidence, and family life.

This is a relaxed, welcoming environment and perfect for anyone wanting a little extra support. Parent Network Scotland regularly organise free courses, which are integrated with peer‑led support, trauma‑informed care.

🙌 Wednesday 12th August marks International Youth Day the theme for 2026 is "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations". This reflects that young people's lives are shaped by diverse contexts nationally and locally but they have joint aspirations to for dignity, opportunity and participation.

There are many opportunities for young people locally to participate in communities.

Glasgow Life are looking for young people who are actively committed to creating change in their local community and having a say in what happens there.

Glasgow's Youthbank will be young volunteers aged 12-18 who will act as grant-makers, making decisions about which activities and projects for young people should get funding.
