When someone important to us has been cared for by the hospice, the memories we make with them can stay with us forever.

For some families, continuing to support the hospice is a meaningful way to remember someone special - helping other families have the time, space and support to make precious memories together.

A regular gift in their memory can make a lasting difference.

A gift of £10 a month could help us continue providing compassionate care and support to families when they need it most.

Today we are launching a new appeal to ask if you can help us turn a shop into care?

Did you know we have a network of Hospice Shops right across Glasgow and surrounding areas which generate vital funds to support patient care here at ? Last year our our city centre shops contributed £150,000 towards patient care thanks to the generous donations which are then sold in the shops.

Now, we want to build on that success and open a new city centre shop to help support local patients and families for years to come BUT we need your support to help us fit out the new shop.
For every £10 donated towards the new shop, we expect to generate £200 for Glasgow’s Hospice over the next five years, with the potential to raise even more in the years that follow.

Your support today can help fund care for years to come.

You can help support us even more by sharing this message to reach as many people as possible.

Our team helps families make special memories together.

It might be creating a memory box, starting a project to be continued in their memory, watching a favourite film, listening to a favourite song, enjoying an experience together – like a trishaw ride – or simply having time to sit together, hold hands and talk.

Sometimes, it’s the simplest moments that become the most treasured: sharing stories, listening to music, laughing together or simply being there for one another.

Our team has shared 10 ways families can create meaningful moments together, from the simple to the more creative.

Every family is different. What matters is having the time, space and support to make those precious moments possible.

We are absolutely delighted to share that Laila, Navya, Julianna, Eva, Myla from Trinity High School have won £3,000 for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice through The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI).

They visited the hospice to learn more about the specialist care we provide for patients and families across Glasgow. After spending time with our team, they created a thoughtful, heartfelt and truly impressive presentation that showcased the impact of hospice care. And their hard work paid off.

We are so grateful for their dedication, compassion and commitment to championing the hospice. Their efforts will make a real difference to the people we support every day.

Thank you, for choosing to stand with Glasgow’s Hospice. You should be incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved. 💙

Festa Italiana Glasgow on 13 September - postponed
It is with great regret that Italian Scotland has had to take the decision to postpone the Festa Italiana Glasgow, scheduled to take place at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice on Sunday 13 September.

This decision has been taken due to the late scheduling of a football match at Ibrox on Sunday 13 September which will lead to increased traffic and parking restrictions in the surrounding area. We know many of you were looking forward to a fantastic celebration of food, family fun and Italian culture, and we want your experience of the Festa Italiana to be as positive as it can be.
We will share further information on a rescheduled date as soon as possible.

A huge hospice thank you to everyone at Everywhen, formerly Towergate, including Martin McKenna and Catherine Fryars, who raised an incredible £8,340 in memory of their much-loved colleague and friend, David Ness. David also worked with us here at the hospice.

What a fantastic achievement. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and for this special tribute to David.
